China promises to
"keep its word" on Pelosi's visit
China has
promised to "keep its word" of bringing consequences for Pelosi’s
visit to Taiwan.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson
Hua Chunying has announced.
“China will keep its word, so please have patience and confidence,” she said after commenting that “The US and Taiwan secessionists must assume full responsibility for any consequences arising from Pelosi's visit to Taiwan”
Pelosi departs Taiwan
en route to S.Korea and Japan
US House Speaker, an 82-year-old woman,
Nancy Pelosi has departed Taiwan en route to South Korea and Japan amid
tensions between China and Taiwan.
Military
drills are increasing and Global Times has reported that the 4 US military
reconnaissance aircrafts that have frequently been deployed around Taiwan have
recently not made any move but parked at a base in Okinawa, Japan.
Pelosi arrived on Tuesday night and addressed Taiwan’s parliament on
Wednesday morning before having a public meeting with Taiwan's President, Tsai
Ing-wen.
Chinese
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying has warned that USA and Taiwan will
reap what they sowed during the visit.
“Relevant
countermeasures will be forceful and effective. The US and secessionists in Taiwan
will feel the impact”

Chinese army
exercises near Taiwan
China claims it
is military drills but we're fixing our eyes on the sea and space near Taiwan
because all evidence confirms the drills are a response to Pelosi's visit to
the Island.
At
present, the Global Times has reported that live-fire drills have been carried
out in the Taiwan Strait.
China’s ambassador
to US Qin Gang has said that the communist country will defend territory in
what he calls an unstoppable reunification.
"China has
every right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The
reunification of China cannot be stopped." Chinese ambassador to the US told
CNN on Wednesday.
China has not come out to connect the currently claimed military drills around Taiwan as connected to a demonstration against Pelosi’s visit.
Main events that unfolded after Pelosi's visit to Taiwan
-Pelosi has met with the authorities of the island and has been awarded the
Order of Auspicious Clouds for her promotion of bilateral relations.
-The House Speaker said she “is proud of our [The US’] enduring friendship with
Taiwan and will not relinquish our commitment to the island”
-In response, China’s Foreign Minister said the reunification of Taiwan with the
mainland is a historical inevitability.
-Beijing claimed the actions of the island’s authorities would plunge Taiwan
deep into a crisis.
-China has imposed sanctions against two Taiwanese funds for separatist
activities and suspended the import of citrus fruits and some fish
-Plans to build a $5 billion lithium-ion factory to supply North America, including
companies Ford and Tesla, have been put on hold in China
-US warships are stationed in the South China Sea
-Taiwan 7-11 Stores hacked and screens switched to show a picture of Nancy Pelosi
with the message "Warmonger Pelosi get out of Taiwan."
-Berlin has warned China against escalating tensions with Taiwan and has vowed
to assist Taipei in case of a conflict with Beijing, Foreign Minister Annalena
Baerbock announced.
“We do not accept when international law is broken and a larger neighbor
attacks its smaller neighbor,” said Baerbock, adding that this principle
applied to China as well.
