Stop posting too many verses without their application

Sharing the application of the word of God is the most important thing a believer should be doing in these end times.

Many of us like sharing too many Bible verses or quotes from the Spirit of Prophesy on all social media platforms, but this is not what God calls us to do in our times.

God is calling us to tell people our testimony in light with the word of God such that they can walk the application of the word of God in their lives.

The spirit of mere sharing the verses kills the one who shares it in the first place because one doesn’t take time to understand the application of the word of God to him/her and the relevance of it to the rest.

The Jews enjoyed reading about the Messiah but didn't want to calculate the time of his coming that’s told in Daniel’s 70 weeks prophesies.

Jesus came and they did not recognize him and did not do what the word of God required of them at that precious time in their lives.

The Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts 8 was reading Isaiah 53, about the Messiah, but could not understand what it meant to him or what it meant during that time.

Moreover, he was a great church member who went to Jerusalem, from Ethiopia, to pray and worship the Creator of Heaven and earth but did not know the plan of salvation in the scripture.

The Apostle Philip asked him if he understood what he read and he said “How can I, except some man should guide me?”

As soon as he understood the application of Isaiah’s prophesy, that it was about the Messiah who came and became a sacrifice for his sin, he believed and asked Philip to baptize him.

We have to share the relevance of the world of God in our personal lives, in our countries and in our time otherwise, people of God will remain in darkness and will not do what is required of the believer in his/her life, time and place.

God bless us all,
