Canada Freedom Convoy fund is $200k to hit $8 million
The Freedom convoy 2022 funds raised at the
GoFundMe fundraising platform is remaining with $200,000 to hit the target of $8
million.

The Canadian Freedom Convoy said they would use the funds for gas and
food expenses incurred while participating in a rally that’s ongoing in the
capital Ottawa.
GoFundMe froze the funds on Tuesday claiming that
it was their policy to get proof if the funds through their platform are used
appropriately.
Today, the GoFundMe released a batch of only $1
million, according to the fund initiator Tamara Lich who announced it on
Friday through her Twitter account.
The rest of the funds are withheld for the
beneficiaries to first prove they will be spending the money for the intended
acts, according to GoFundMe.
