drivers from all over Europe and the Americas are driving their trucks to their nations capitals in protest against government vaccination
mandates which stopped them from working.

The
Freedom Convoy 2022 now leading to Ottawa Canada is said to be over 60 miles
long and is expected to fully be in the capital this Saturday while the same convoy to
Australia’s Canberra will arrive on Monday 31st January 2022.
These unexpected visitors have
already started arriving as thousands of others cruise through the snow to reach Ottawa
on Saturday in the same way those in Queensland are expected on Monday.
The demonstration started as
a small thing by people who had demonstrated grievances against being dismissed
from their jobs because of not accepting Covid Vaccine.

The
whole of Europe and the Americas are set for similar demonstrations by truck
drivers but first in Canada and Australia, the leading countries with stringent
covid rules.
Ottawa police chief Peter Sloly has warned that protesters who become violent will be arrested and prosecuted.
“We are prepared to
investigate, arrest if necessary, charge and prosecute anyone who acts violently
or breaks the law in the demonstrations” The Independent reported.
Meanwhile, the GoFundMe fundraising platform has said they will not let the demonstrators withdraw their $7 million funds
raised by supporters of the demonstrations, according to the Washington Post.
The platform claimed that
it was not sure if the beneficiaries of the funds would use them appropriately.
The media has undermined
reporting the demonstrations apart from the Independent which gives updates.
