The
Freedom Convoy in Australia’s Canberra protests against Mandatory vaccination
has prevailed against an assault from the police today afternoon local time, trying to drive demonstrators away.

Police marched into the protesting crowd, demanding the
protesters to leave the Patrick White Lawns near the National Public Library
but the Freedom Convoy staged a resistance until police retreated at 5pm,
according to The Canberra Times.
The Australian Capital Territory Policing (ACT) used capsicum spray and arrested a woman in the
attack while three men who showed solidarity to defend her were also arrested,
according to the 7News.
After the nasty event today Wednesday 2nd February
2022, police told The Canberra Times that the arrested woman would be charged
with assault while others would be charged with obstruction of law enforcement.
According to the Canberra Times, the police attacked the
protesters after they had refused to obey a written order to vacate the place
which they had camped at on Tuesday when the Oceanic nation’s Premier was
making an address.
The notice threatened the demonstrators were liable for fines for
illegal parking and police tried to photograph the plate number of demonstrators’
cars, causing a clash with the people who were peacefully demonstrating against
mandatory vaccination.
A video from the scene shows police officers beating demonstrators
while other giant special forces personnel immediately obstructed the cameras
from seeing what their fellow police officers were doing to the arrested demonstrators.
The
7News reported that an ambulance was seen leaving the “2022 Official Convoy to Canberra Terra
Australis" camp with a head-bandaged man at the scene before 5pm when police
left.
Faith Reporters has established that thousands are still joining
the protest from all over the country especially from the Gold Coast to join
the thousands who turned up since Monday 31st January 2022.
The demonstrators also demanded that parliament convenes a
sitting to address their issues or remain at the demonstration sites until and
or beyond 8th February 2022 when parliament will be sitting.
The National Capital Authority (NCA) claims that it’s illegal for demonstrators to camp in vicinities of the National Library or
parliament, calling the police to act on the demonstrators.
We are yet to establish what will happen between the overwhelming
demonstrators and the overambitious authorities.
Authorities claim the Parliament House and National Library precincts
are booked for permitted activities while demonstrators also want such places
where their representatives are.
The famous Freedom Convoy 2022 demonstrations against Covid directives started over the weekend in Canada's Ottawa and spread to Australia and all over Europe.
The peaceful demonstrators are demanding their governments drop all Covid-related restrictions and restore freedoms.
