The Australian Freedom Convoy 2022 at Parliament House in Canberra is demanding parliamentarians to convene a sitting and remove mandatory vaccination.

Parliamentarians
are out of work until next week but the demonstrators are demanding for a rare
sitting to solve the issues that have brought thousands and thousands of the
people they represent from provincial governments.
Meanwhile, the
GoFundMe has frozen over AUD160,000 intended to sustain the Convoy in
demonstrations until the Federal Government listens to their demands.
GoFundMe claims
the organisers are yet to meet the platform’s requirements for withdrawal of
funds which include accountability of how funds would be spent.
The fundraiser
in the name of Ironbark Thunderbolt is not public to comment on the freezing of
the funds which are supposed to be collected by Jim Greer, a West Australian
man who has spent over two decades teaching people how to live without modern comfort.
Unconfirmed information
is that GoFundMe is willing to release AUD14000 to the demonstrators and that other
funds can only be claimed in the next seven days.
The same freezing
of funds through the online fundraising platform happened to the $8 million of
the Canadian Freedom Convoy to Ottawa, releasing only $1 million to the
fundraisers.
The Freedom Convoy
to Canberra is an Australian campaign by people who oppose mandatory vaccination,
a replica of the same campaign going on in Canada’s Ottawa.
More and more
Australians are still flocking Canberra with trucks and personal cars to join
the group that arrived today Monday.
The campaign started
in Canada on Saturday last week as a demonstration of USA-Canada cross-border truck
drivers who refused the requirement to be vaccinated against Covid to continue their jobs.
Since mandatory
vaccination had affected all including some who were vaccinated not in fear of
the disease but fear to lose their jobs, other workers joined the truckers with
their own cars and the idea spread like a bushfire throughout the Americans and Europe.
The demonstration
at the European Union level is expected in Brussels in mid-February where people will
be demanding the removal of covid directives and restoration of freedoms in the whole of Europe.
