SDA Pastor Finley refers to Covid vaccines as “personal crisis”

The Adventist Pastor Mark Finley has written an article in which he refers to the mandatory Covid vaccination which has left millions jobless as “a personal crisis”.

Pastor Mark Finley

The article published in the Adventist News on 3rd February 2022 dismissed the fears that Covid, which has changed the world, has any connection with Bible prophesy and warned believers to not "lose focus when we are facing a personal crisis”

The special assistant to the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists for Evangelism emphasised that losing a job because of Saturday Sabbath should not be compared to the conscience that makes people refuse Covid vaccines.

“My point is not to equate the Sabbath and Vaccines at all. But the result of losing one’s job over the Sabbath or losing it because one is not vaccinated has the same economic impact on the family”.

The prolific Adventist author and compelling preacher contrasted Adventists who’ve lost jobs because of their conscience to keep the sabbath with those who lost jobs because of the conscience to refuse Covid vaccines.

“There is a profound difference in my mind between breaking the Sabbath, one of the Ten Commandments, and the choice not to take the mRNA vaccine,” he wrote.

Pastor Finely rather reiterated the current Adventist message which dismisses the situation of not being allowed to buy or sell as a confirmation of the prophesied persecution against those who exercise conscience as has been preached since the start of Adventism in the 1800s.

“We know from Scripture that human laws, mandates, and directives will eventually come that will directly counter God’s commandments. This time is not yet but it is coming” he said.

A timely compassionate article

Pastor Ted Wilson, president at the Adventist Church, recommended the article as a timely piece, compassionate and a blessing.

“Here is a very timely, compassionate article written by Pastor Mark Finley. May you find it to be a blessing” he said in a tweet.

The article is very timely as the Adventist church is struggling to distance itself from the fellow faithful who refused to get vaccinated, claiming the Adventist message informed their conscience.

In mid-January, Pastor Dr Conrad Vine blasted the institution in a sermon that undermined the authority of the Councils that cut off individual members from claiming religious liberties in refusing Covid vaccines.

The sermon was attacked by David Hamstra, the Lead Pastor at Edmonton Central Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada.

  1. The seventh day Adventist church leadership has not received prophet Ireen Nawila. She is a seventh day Adventist, in good standing.
God in her vision, showed her that pastor Ted Wilson was the first one to baptised with this acidic vaccine.

Jesus told her that whoever is vaccinated, the former Rain will be removed from such people, and won't receive the Latter Rain.

By refusing to be vaccinated, and being refused to buy or sell, or work, is just making away for Sunday law which is coming.
If the church listened to her prophecy, it would have been guided.

  2. Why forcing mRNA vaccine made from aborted foetus cell lines into my body? Rather spend effort to develop a natural organic vaccine in line with the teaching of Adventist health principles. Judgement belongs to God and true, matters of conscience are personal.

  3. Greetings in the lord,

Please permit me to ask this question that has been affecting Adventist workers or job seekers.

In line with what pastor Finley said about taking Covid Vaccines and Adventist Christians rejecting jobs for Sabbath Worship. I have discovered that, In most of our church Offices/ Institutions, in the security or Kitchen Department precisely, if a staff is not on duty on a sabbath day, he / she will be officially penalized ; maybe stipend deducted at the end of the Month. Is the staff keeping the Sabbath by that ? Is that not compulsion? Is it right for the organization / institution to penalize an Adventist who worshiped the lord on sabbath day, just because he was not found on his duty post?. How can an Adventist Job seeker now rejects a job from a non Adventist organization, or a worker in a non Adventist organization refuse to work on Saturday when even in the church organization, the workers are been penalized for that?

I have been a victim of this. I worked in a company ( name withheld), that have Saturday as a work day. On Fridays I was faced with a challenge to go to work on Saturday, which I rejected. I tried to talk to my Manager about it but he refused to accept because of the targets placed before him; I was queried many times and a last warning was given to me, then I prayed that God should Change my Job. It wasn't long, I got employed in My Current School, later I discovered that Some Staff in Adventist Organization are facing the same Challenge. Can this lift someone's faith?....Anonymous.

  4. Sister White did warn that the SDA Church will appostacise. Now all SDA faithful are aware. The leadership is lost. How can you be a GC leader and you support injecting people with a vaccine made from aborted foetus? When the spiritual compas is dead, seek further for the condition of the moral compass. Poor man is singing for his supper. Pension time. Don't look further than the Vatican influence here. EG White did prophecy about the Church falling away. Watch YouTube for many Adventist Churches proving this immunization as a precursor to Revelation 13 prophecy. It had all the hallmarks of it. Our relatives, friends and know sportsmen died directly after taking this vaccine. Heart attacks, brain
related strokes happened in our faces. Revelation 18, 'Come out of her my people...' rings very loud and clear in my ears. No shred of protestantism left in this Church, just run for your souls. No more sermons by these men for me. Signs were there towards the last GC Session. Doctrines were changed without any Biblical verse to justify proof, and the rest is history. Isaiah 8:20 and Psalm 11:3-4. Look at the content of the Great Hope if you were ever doubting, the Religious Liberty Department for more additional proof. Even the closeness to the harlot. What more can we say. The SDA Church follows the Beast and the Harlot. If you don't run now, blame yourself later.

  5. it may be different since the virus is not related to an actual commandment, however it is the same as far as forcing the will or conscience of another and mandating that something be put into their body that they do not want. wether it is for their own medical reasons or simply not agreeing with a forced mandate. it is clear that many have lost job or ability to work if they do not take the vaccine and instead of our leadership making asinine comments they should be recognizing the clear signs of the times. liberty and in particular liberty of conscience are being threatened daily, all over the globe, on social media and in personal decisions. it is and should be a choice and while it is not the sunday law or mandate that we know is coming, it still is a forced mandate against the will of the individual and is wrong.
