A rainy-day gas reserve for Canada

Canada is sitting on the third-largest oil reserves in the world, yet when a crisis hits and supply is disrupted, we are at the mercy of the markets without our own reserve stock.

Life in Canada is becoming unaffordable, and Canadians are desperate for relief.

Canadians paid almost 55 per cent more for gasoline in June than they did the year before and, as everyone pays more for fuel, it’s driving up the costs of everything else we buy.

Driving is less affordable, and reports show Canadians are cutting back on essentials, even eating less food because of the higher prices.

Food banks are overwhelmed, and demand only seems to be growing.

While the Liberals would like to blame it all on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, taxes, broader global supply chain challenges, and a lack of domestic production are all at play.

Depending on where you live in the country, gas taxes could make up to 38 per cent of the price you pay at the pump.

So as gas prices have soared, the government has been floating in gas cash, inflating both prices and the size of the government.

Meanwhile, Canadians struggle to feed themselves and these short-sighted policies hurt the lowest income Canadians the most.

The most offensive of these taxes is the carbon tax.

On April 1st, Trudeau increased the carbon tax, bringing it to about 11 cents a litre.

That decision made Canada the only G7 country to increase the price of gas for its citizens during a global energy crisis.

As I’ve stated before, I will cancel the carbon tax, but there are other taxes that Canadians need to know about.

Every time you fill up at a gas station, the Liberals aren’t just taxing you, they are taxing you on their own taxes – the GST/HST you pay is calculated on all the other taxes including the federal excise tax and carbon tax.

It’s adding an extra 4.1 cents per litre on average to the price, equalling about $1 billion per year in revenue for the government.

As Prime Minister, I will eliminate this hidden and dishonest tax-on-tax, and provide some immediate and permanent relief to Canadians at the pumps.

We need to do everything we can to stabilize prices, drive down inflation and keep the economy moving.

That’s why I also agree with calls from other campaigns to suspend federal taxes on gas for the summer. At $1.75/litre, suspending all federal gas taxes would save drivers about 25 cents per litre.

But this isn’t enough – we need longer-term solutions.

Global supply issues are a key driver of the prices we’re seeing.

Canada is sitting on the third-largest oil reserves in the world, yet when a crisis hits and supply is disrupted, we are at the mercy of the markets without our own reserve stock.

Most of us have heard the adage, “save for a rainy day.”

In addition to building up our oil and gas capacity, it’s time for Canada to join other major oil producers to establish a National Strategic Oil Reserve to ensure a baseline supply of oil in the event of global market shocks and disruptions like geopolitical wars and illegal rail blockades.

I first unveiled this policy in my 2020 platform, and I believe this policy is needed now more than ever.

It will require investment and partnerships across industry and governments, but if we’re serious about protecting Canada’s interests in an increasingly dangerous world, it’s a strategic necessity.

Canadians have suffered enough these past two years, and what they need right now is stability and hope.

It’s time Canadians have a Prime Minister who will fight for affordability while delivering on a vision for energy security and prosperity that puts Canadians first.

Dutch Farmers’ Dirty Protest Covers Roads in Manure & Hay

Furious Dutch farmers protested against nitrogen emissions laws by pouring manure and hay onto roads across the country, setting fire to scattered piles and causing kilometer-long traffic jams.

Farmers are demanding authorities repeal the law on reducing nitrogen emissions, which they say have pushed a third of farms to the verge of bankruptcy as farmers are forced to send cows - a key source of nitrogen emissions - to the slaughterhouse.

The Dutch farmers’ latest protest follows their action that covered the Minister of Nature and Nitrogen’s house with hay last month and clashes with cops earlier in July.

At least 4 dead in 7.1 Magnitude Philippines earthquake Philippines

A huge earthquake that struck the northern Philippine island of Luzon on Wednesday has killed at least four people and injured 60 more, with tremors felt in the capital Manila and forcing some evacuations and public transport to be stopped.

Around 173 buildings were damaged - including one hospital in Abra province that partially collapsed without any casualties - while 58 landslides were also reported.

The epicenter itself was reportedly a relatively shallow 10km below the earth’s surface, with the quake itself lasting around 30 seconds.

Johnson Invokes Churchill Spirit in Zelensky Award Ceremony

UK PM Boris Johnson told Vladimir Zelensky that “Churchill would have cheered and probably wept too” at the Ukrainian President’s leadership in a videolink ceremony Tuesday.

Johnson added that he could imagine the spirit of Britain’s wartime leader “walking with you” and jabbing the way ahead with his walking stick” as he awarded Zelensky the Sir Winston Churchill Leadership Award.

The mutual backslapping continued as Zelensky claimed the award was Johnson’s as well for showing continued support.

About 1000 scientists to confront “arrogant” UN over climate emergency

A group of about 1000 scientists is preparing to confront the United Nations and other international organisations over misleading the world about climate emergency which they say is not really in the world.

Prof Guus Berkhout the President at Climate Intelligence (CLINTEL)

“We are thinking of a proper action to confront them with this arrogant and rude behaviour, confirming that they are not interested in the needs and concerns of the real world” Prof Guus Berkhout the President at Climate Intelligence (CLINTEL) told Faith Reporters on Tuesday.

Prof Berkhout said they have been sharing their scientific analyses of the world climate to inform all climate-related policies but the UN and all other organisations have neither accepted nor challenged back.

“We have sent [letters] to leaders of supranational organisations. Clintel honours the principle ‘Auditor bet Altera Pars’ [or let the other side be heard as well], but they don't even bother to reply!” he said in an email.

Some of the letters seen by Faith Reporters were signed by 700 experts and scholars, including one to the UN on 23rd September 2019 when the young Greta Thunberg delivered a scolding “How Dare You” speech to the world leaders.

Other letters were addressed to the European Union on 13th November 2019, the World Economic Forum on 20th January 2020, UN on 10th May 2020, the World Meteorological Organisation on 29th June 2020, 31st July 2020, World Leaders on 15th December 2020 and many more.

What the letters say

All the letters explain how there is no climate emergency and that the climate policies adopted by nations are informed by speculations rather than tested science.

This group of experts which also functions as a Climate Intelligence Council says current claimed global warming is natural and at a normal pace.

“The Little Ice Age ended as recently as 1850. Therefore, it is no surprise that we now are experiencing a period of warming” they say in the letters.

On the issue of CO2, the experts have argued that the gas is naturally beneficial to plants and therefore to other living creatures as well.

“Enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial. CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth. CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth” they argue.

Scientists also refute the allegation that natural disasters are caused by global warming, arguing that “there is no statistical evidence.

“However,”, they say, “there is ample evidence that [the current] CO2-mitigation measures [by governments around the world] are as damaging as they are costly”.

Meanwhile, the discouraged scientists have embarked on a campaign to sensitise the public on climate science and how there’s no climate emergency as alleged by the UN.

“We are now directing our focus, particularly to the people in the street by providing them with more information. They suffer most” prof Berkhout said.

Pope apologizes for Catholicism’s ‘evils’ in Canada

Pope Francis is on a six-day apology tour of Canada asking forgiveness from Indigenous people for the Catholic Church’s participation in the Residential School system.

“I humbly beg forgiveness for the evil committed by so many Christians against the Indigenous peoples,” the Pope said of the schools which have been labeled “genocidal” by the Canadian government.

Canada separated Indigenous children from their families and sent them to these boarding schools which were operated up until 1969, some of them by the Catholic Church.

Uganda: forcefully vaccinated student dies of organs failure

Jonah Luyinda, a grade nine student of St Martin Secondary School, Jjanya Mpigi who has been battling multiple organ failures after receiving the Covid-19 Vaccine is dead, the family has confirmed.

Jonah Luyinda was hospitalised for multiple organ failures / Nile Post
By Nile Post

“Yes, it is true, Jonah is dead. He died in Kiruddu Referral Hospital and the issues regarding post-mortem, I am going to work upon it tomorrow (Today),” Jonah’s elder brother, Jasper Nsubuga told The Nile Post on phone.

Luyinda,14, was vaccinated in March this year when a team of officials from the Ministry of Health went to the school and inoculated learners even before the government pronounced itself on the issue of its planned countrywide mass vaccination of learners between the age of 12- 17 years of age.

Days after, Luyinda’s health started to deteriorate.

Nsubuga, Jonah’s brother recently told the Nile Post that the doctors told them that his brother’s organs were greatly affected.

It remains unclear whether it is the vaccine that led to his ill health or whether he had other underlying health issues.

Luyinda who was getting his treatment at Kiruddu Hospital was first admitted to the general ward but later doctors took him to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), saying his health condition was very serious.

Multiple-organ failure is a severe, life-threatening condition that usually occurs as a result of major trauma, burns, or fulminant infections.

Last month, the Ministry of Health said it had kicked off investigations into Luyinda’s case.

The leader of the National Economic Empowerment Dialogue (NEED) political organisation Joseph Kabuleta who has been very vocal about the issue of this vaccination of children expressed concern that many children are likely to end up like Luyinda.

He explained that Covid-19 vaccines are very dangerous to children and can cause heart problems and infertility, adding that no government official or members of the opposition are willing to talk about this because they fear their donations from foreigners will be cancelled.

Health experts and activists have several times warned the government and school administrators against vaccinating children without parental consent.

Leslyn Lewis blasts World Economic Forum and its globalism

I have been asked about the World Economic Forum (“the WEF”) at every single campaign event.

People are concerned that they are seeing so much of what was dismissed as a conspiracy theory actually manifest over the past two years.

Take for example “The Great Reset”, which was never a conspiracy - it was an actual book written by the head of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, about how to usher in a “green economy”.

We have watched leaders around the globe - like our Prime Minister - operate in lockstep and proclaim that COVID has given us a great opportunity to “reset” and reimagine our economic and social future.

When you are told that something is a conspiracy, but you can go online and order the book from Amazon, it makes you distrustful.

You wonder what else people are lying to you about.

Hearing Klaus Schwab brag that he “penetrated” the Liberal cabinet was obviously concerning.

Whether or not you believe that Schwab actually holds sway over Prime Minister Trudeau and his cabinet, the fact that a foreign businessman thinks he does is greatly concerning.

One of the many WEF questions I’m asked at my events is how many Conservatives belong to the WEF? In addition, they ask if Pierre Poilievre, whose picture along with his campaign Chair John Baird was on the WEF website, are part of the WEF.

For the record, I am not aware of any Conservative that is a part of the WEF.

Mr. Poilievre has stated that he does not know how his picture got on the website, and I have no information that would cause me to disbelieve him.

As for Mr. Baird, I’ve met him on a few occasions and he seems to be a decent man.

I would suggest reaching out directly to Mr. Poilievre’s campaign to find out if Mr. Baird is still associated with the WEF.

I have been shown several videos postulating that Mr. Poilievre’s campaign is a shill for the WEF and I can say that it goes against what I know of Mr. Poilievre who has never given me any reason to doubt his commitment to this country.

The idea that a group of elites could go around the world “penetrating” political democracies and concluding that “you will own nothing and you will be happy” goes against the values of free enterprise and sovereignty that built Canada into this incredible country.

After everything that has come out of the WEF, why would Justin Trudeau enter into an agreement with the WEF to implement a trusted traveller program known as the “Known Traveller Digital ID (KTDI)”?

Canadians did not consent to this program, and the fact that the WEF’s Chairman has bragged about “penetrating” our cabinet, we should immediately halt the KTDI program and cease any other contracts with the WEF.

A commitment that Conservative MPs will not attend WEF conferences is a given but doesn’t go far enough to guarantee Canadians that we will shun any global organization that attempts to undermine our democracy.

I will go further by challenging the WEF net-zero policies that negatively affect our farmers, that dictate climate change policies that impoverish citizens while not reducing emissions, and that will control every aspect of our lives through the digitization of our economy.

I will stand against WEF policies that undermine our sovereignty, erode our freedom, and attempt to shape our destiny into their post-nationalist state.

I am committed to not only standing up for freedom, sovereignty, and individual responsibility both at home and abroad but also confronting and opposing all WEF ideals that undermine our sovereignty.

Few Dutch Farmers allowed into Amsterdam protests, Municipal authorities

Amsterdam Municipal authorities have said that they had to let a few Dutch Farmers demonstrators enter the City’s Dam square for congestion reasons.

Some Farmers' tractors packed outside the city as a few farmers were allowed to get to Dam Square Amsterdam

"We are looking to see if they can park somewhere temporarily so that people can continue on foot." A municipal spokesperson told the Netherland Times.

Thousands of Dutch farmers flocked Amsterdam today to protest against government environmental policies that require farmers to reduce the number of animals on the farmland.

The paper that termed demonstrators as people of conspiracy theorists said that a limited number of tractors were allowed on the square as a backdrop for the demonstration.

“He [municipal spokesperson] claimed that tractors were stopped in several places in the city to prevent too many from arriving at Dam Square” the paper reported.

The paper further estimated that at least 1000 people gathered at Dam Square with about a dozen trucks and tractors.

US Lieutenant General Michael Thomas Flynn called upon all lovers of freedom around the world to rally behind the Dutch farmers who are demonstrating against Netherland’s policies to curb nitrogen emissions.

“We encourage people everywhere to unite, stand up step up and speak up; post and share the flag of Holand on all your social media sites, make sure that people around the world know that we stand with the Dutch Farmers,” Gen Flynn said addressing protesters today in Amsterdam.

The retired Gen added that “Today we’re all Dutch farmers; your struggle is our struggle”

Other speakers of the peaceful protest at Dam Square Amsterdam included Dutch farmer Koos Cromwijk and American actor Kevin Sorbo.

The Netherlands intensified its agricultural produce after WWII when tens of thousands succumbed to hunger and starvation due to the Nazis who had occupied the country during the war.

After World War II, the country focused on intensifying farming efficient farming methods which have been improved over time, making Netherland the largest food producer in the world compared to the country’s land size and population.

Farmers want to defend themselves against the current government that wants to deny them their rights to practice agriculture and sustain their families.

Breaking: Pastor Artur Pawlowski’s case quashed by Calgary court

The Alberta Court of Appeal has quashed a case in which a street Pastor Artur Pawlowski had been prosecuted for supporting protests against Covid mandates in Trudeau’s Canada.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski in an interview with the Rebel News after his bail in March

Faith Reporters has established that the court ruled that the injunction against him, his arrest, his jail time, the censorship order and fines against him were illegal.

The 49-year-old father of three was thrown in jail and spent nearly two months there in solitary confinements before he was released on bail in March 2022.

Upon his bail release, the Calgary Pastor criticised the Canadian so-called mainstream media for taking sides with politicians instead of being neutral in their work of reporting on the dispensation of equal freedoms and rights of society members.

“My speech was deemed unacceptable by politicians but tomorrow [the media] will write something that perhaps the government does not like as well. They might find themselves stripped naked, checked, dehumanised, pushed around in solitary confinements and they say ‘what? I just wrote a story”.

As one of the victims of Trudeau's government crackdown on Freedom Convoy 2022, Pawlowski was arrested on 7th February 2022 a week after his speech at Smugglers Saloon in Coutts, where protesters against Covid mandates had been blocking travel to the United States.

His release on 30th March 2022 involved a cash deposit of $25,000, a requirement of sureties from his wife and his son that they would watch over Pastor Pawlowski to respect the curfew and not attend protests.

All set for Dutch farmers protest in Amsterdam tomorrow

Dutch farmers are heading to the capital Amsterdam tomorrow 23rd July 2022 for a massive protest against the government's climate change measures claimed to curb nitrogen emissions.

Routes for demonstrators' tractors and vehicles decorated with supportive messages / Faith Reporters

The Dutch government seeks to cut nitrogen oxide and ammonia pollutants by 50 percent by 2030 with measures that trample over the country’s measures that saved the Netherlands from starvation and famine post-WWII.

According to the Science journal, “Dutch farms contain four times more animal biomass per hectare than the European Union average” and “Dutch agriculture is responsible for nearly half of nitrogen pollution that falls in the country”.

The so-called climate-friendly regulations may force farmers to cut production and herd numbers by up to 30 percent to meet emission requirements by the state.

On farms near national parks, the government plans to cut greenhouse gas nitrogen by up to 70 percent claiming that ecosystems have been damaged by nitrogen pollution.

“I don’t think I have a future in farming because we must reduce our cattle by 70 percent. With only 80 cows, this won’t be profitable, so we will have to close,” Jessee Baars, a young Dutch dairy farmer, told France 24 during protests last week.

Thousands of farmers in the Netherlands have been protesting against the measures announced in June 2022, taking to the highways and cities on their tractors.

A country that is 270 times smaller than the United States, the Netherlands is the second-largest exporter of agricultural products in the world next to the United States.

On 11th July 2022, a fire broke out at Picnic Grocery store in Eastern Netherlands which has been linked to Bill Gate’s synthetic meat store.

This week, social media circulated a video in which Dutch farmers named WEF, Rockefellers, Rothschild, Gates, Schwab, Mark and Hugo as the guys playing the tunes that their government is dancing to.

Like it was with the Canadian Freedom Convoy, the Netherland farmers have motivated other farmers from other parts of the world to revolt against governments’ measures that oppress them in the name of climate crises.

Congressman calls for scrutiny into Bill Gates’ massive land ownership

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson has written to the House Agriculture Committee requesting them to examine Bill Gates’ interests in his purchases of big chunks of farmland, becoming the largest individual farmland owner in America.

Republican Dusty Johnson wrote the letter to the committee chair David Scott on Wednesday 20th July 2022.

“I write to request you call Mr. Bill Gates before the Agriculture Committee to testify regarding his farming interests and practices,” he wrote expressing his concern that “Mr. Gates is the largest private farmland owner in America,” he said in the letter.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture’s Economic Research, the average farm size in 2021 was 445 acres but the Microsoft co-founder who is pushing for not eating animal meat owns nearly 270000 acres of farmland across 19 states.

“I believe that Mr. Gates’ holdings across much of our nation is a significant portion that the Committee should not ignore, [looking at] as he has been a leading voice in the push for synthetic meat.”

Rep Johnson is a Ranking Member of the Livestock and Foreign Agriculture Subcommittee and the sole Congressional Member from South Dakota where there are over four beef cattle for every resident.

Bill Gates has been calling on rich countries to move to 100 percent synthetic beef, raising questions about the connection of the aspiration to purchasing farmland and advocacy for synthetic beef, according to Rep Johnson.

Apparently, the North Dakota government has granted Bill Gates the legal authority to purchase an additional 2,100 acres of farmland, with locals complaining that they feel they are being exploited by wealthy landowners like Gates who buy massive swathes of land while refusing to share the state’s conservative values, according to the Rebel News.

At the beginning of July 2022, the Daily Mail reported that Bill Gates won the legal approval to buy a huge swath of North Dakota farmland at $13.5M after an outcry from residents who said they are being exploited by the ultra-rich

“North Dakota’s Agriculture Commissioner, Republican Doug Goehring, previously said that many people feel they are being exploited by the ultra-rich who buy land but do not necessarily share the state’s values,” the Daily Mail reported.

“I’ve gotten a big earful on this from clear across the state, it’s not even from that neighbourhood,” said Goehring in an interview with a local news station. “Those people are upset, but there are others that are just livid about this.”, the Rebel New quoted.

Govts have no scientific proof for policies, they just want our faith– Canadian MP Lewis

Are you a person of faith or a person of science? Or maybe like me, you feel like those words don’t mean what they used to anymore.

By Dr Leslyn Lewis

Faith has been popularly defined as “the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.” This definition which is based on faith and a belief in God, has now been adopted by governments to get people to buy into policies.

Australian Police attacked Canberra Freedom Convoy, protesters who did not trust the government's Covid vaccination policies

In some cases when we are confronted with catastrophes, plagues or even a pandemic, we have to put our trust in a solution that may not have been fully tested or explained — that’s faith.

Faith has often been confused with science. I am a social scientist and stay away from making pronouncements in the area of natural science. But it isn’t hard to recognize that natural science has turned into beliefs that are also based on faith.

Claims like “trust the science” are actually displays of faith rather than confidence in the scientific method. The scientific method requires a hypothesis and rigorous testing. Science is not trusted, it is tested.

The past two years have been frustrating for those among us who like to ask questions in order to have a better understanding of what is going on around us.

Questions were mocked, ridiculed, and demonized and people were outright silenced for asking simple questions about COVID or even vaccines.

In my training as a lawyer whenever I encountered an aggressive, bullying person my instincts told me they were hiding something. Coercion always put me on alert that something wasn’t right.

At the beginning of the pandemic, we were all happy to “get vaccinated” in order to protect our neighbours, grandparents, and the vulnerable in society.

Any scientist who spoke the truth that the COVID vaccine is a tool to reduce hospital burden by minimizing the symptoms - but it would not completely prevent contracting or spreading COVID - was vilified, de-platformed, and ostracized as a dangerous conspiracy theorist.

Canadians turned against their family members refusing to see them by falsely believing that vaccinated people were immune from getting COVID.

Friends and co-workers yelled at colleagues to “GET VACCINATED”.

People threw down one of the major tenets of our medical system – privacy and started divulging their vaccination status, even peer pressured into posting pictures of themselves getting vaccinated on social media.

When you met someone for the first time, they often told you their vaccination status before they told you their name.

People like me were punished for insisting that we can be safe without violating the foundations of our democracy including the right to medical privacy and free and informed consent.

I accepted my punishment by not receiving a critic/shadow cabinet position even though all I had to do was simply disclose my vaccination status.

I refused because I believe that my principles were worth more to me than any position.

As I watched the illogical madness around me, I refused to be dragged into a system headed for segregation and erosion of our fundamental values and said, “I will stand for my convictions — cost it what it may!"

The past few years have been based on faith, not in any deity, but in government with so many people never questioning information presented by both elected and unelected officials.

The government has seen how well this blind allegiance to faith works with policy.

Now, we must ask ourselves whether we will remain silent while our government implements environmental policies that have little or no connection with reducing emissions; enters into international agreements that diminish our sovereignty, reduce farming capacity, and curtail the development of our natural resources; or implements health and vaccine passes that could easily be programmed to integrate with other aspects of our lives and encroach on things that we once thought personal.

We need to end this style of government where politicians demand absolute trust and blind faith in their policies - while they demonize those who ask questions.

We need to wake up and recognize that every time a politician labels something a conspiracy theory it’s often to avoid answering your question; and unfortunately, it’s often to hide the fact that they are outright lying to you!

It’s time we had politicians who showed a little faith in the people they are supposed to serve, and that requires that we end this era of intellectual darkness and blind faith and allegiance to the politicians and bureaucrats who underestimate our intelligence.

Will you help me build a government where elected officials are answerable to the people, and where policies are not based on blind faith?

BREAKING: Joe Biden tests positive for COVID-19

Having received two doses and two boosters, US President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in a
press release this morning noted that the man who will turn 80 in November this year had mild symptoms for Covid.

“He is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and experiencing mild symptoms,” the statement said adding that “consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties during that time.”

Jean-Pierre also said that the White House will continue to provide daily updates regarding the situation “out of an abundance of transparency.”

This diagnosis comes the day after Joe Biden publicly said that he had cancer at a press conference about climate justice.

Joe Biden, like other Trudeau, Macron, or any other “Covid drummers” has consistently said: "You're not going to get covid if you have these vaccinations."
